In my relentless attempt to be green and focus more on Mac technology, I replaced the old battleaxe Linux machine with a Mac mini. Here it is, barely poking its little body out from underneath the ethernet switches!

The Second Generation Web Server

This is a photo of what it looked like on the floor of my office while I was doing a brain transplant from my old HP Netserver E-60 to the new Dell Poweredge 2400 (not new, actually, but an incredible deal on eBay for a machine with two redundant power supplies and the build quality of an M1A2 Abrams tank: $200!). Two nervous hours, four hard drives and over 200 GB of data later, it came right up the first time! Hooray for Linux! Hooray for me!
